Our four principles

stability

From the choice of materials and their chemical compatibility to the controlled hygrometry of our studios, all is in place to ensure long-lasting continuity

conservation

Use of natural techniques such as “anoxic bagging” for deceleration, if not stoppage, of the aging process. Advice on preventive conservation is part of our mission, as well as documentation of work undertaken, archived with utmost discretion

clarity

The aim is to bring out the intrinsic and aesthetic qualities of the work

reversibility

Our techniques and materials fully respect the principle of reversibility

Catherine Lascroux and Thomas Jordan started their careers at the beginning of the 1980’s. Their complementary know-how and experience are the guarantee of perfectly executed restoration of your furniture and/or paintings.

After his initial training in cabinetmaking, marquetry and inlay work at the Ecole Boule in Paris, Thomas improved his skills at the University of Paris-VI.

Catherine’s introduction to restoration at the Avignon Scool of Art was followed by studies in art history at the Ecole du Louvre and the Sorbonne, and further scientific training in the framework of the Paris Institute of Art, Conservation and Colour.
